He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his daughters, Pamela Geesey Scott of Philadelphia, Amy Geesey Sturgill and husband Travis of Parkesburg, and five grandchildren Lisa L Barr and her fiancé Jim Hess of Bethlehem, Jason L. The family was a very large part of his life. When Jim worked as Santa, he collected Santa figures and amassed a collection of over three hundred figures. Jim held a racing record for several years at Maple Grove Speedway. He loved sports and fishing and traveling. He was also a member of their track team. Jim loved playing basketball and played for Octorara Area High School, with his team winning the District Championship during his senior year. He also served on the Sadsbury Township Planning Commission for five years. Born in Unionville, PA, he was the son of the late Carl W. Jim was the beloved husband of Kathleen Welsch Geesey. Geesey, 75, of Christiana, PA, passed away on Friday, Januat Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital. They shared 46 years of marriage together.
